How to access the building during unmanned hours

There are two ways to gain access:

1)        By typing your 6 digit membership number into the key pad outside. This number is unique to each individual member and can be found on your app or by asking at the desk. This number will stay the same for the entirety of your membership so keep it safe and know that you will always be able to gain entry as long as you have that number handy and your payments are up to date. This method is the most reliable and we would like to encourage members to use this over the key tag wherever possible

2)        By using your key tag to scan on the keypad outside. If you do not have one and would prefer this method of entry, don’t worry we have plenty of spares and you are welcome to have one if you did not receive yours when you joined. We understand not everyone wants to use the app and that’s totally fine by us!

Whether you scan or type the scanner outside will give a loud beep, if there is no sound when trying to scan your key tag please move it closer/further away or change the angle until you hear a noise before you try the door.

It is important to note that this door is now a PULL ONLY from the outside. If you push the door with force it will jam and nobody will be able to get in or out until a staff member arrives (of course the fire exits will let you out) but we would like to avoid this at all costs. Please treat the door with care, it is brand new and using force will not work. This is also relevant when you leave, please use the green button to open the door and push only when you leave. Again pulling the door with force from the inside will cause it to jam and remain closed until fixed.

Please be aware the QR code that is generated via the app will not work on the external door. The outside scanner will only accept the key tag or your 6 digit membership number.

During our unstaffed hours you will not be able to enter the building if you have outstanding arrears on your account. Don’t worry, these can be paid in your app and the system will update immediately and let you in.

From today onwards we are open from 5AM until MIDNIGHT everyday.

The door will unlock at 5am and not a minute before so if you are keen and arrive at 04:59am please know that it will not work until that clock turns to 05.00am. Last entry to the building will be 11:30PM and we kindly ask members to leave by 12AM.

We have upgraded this system to improve the service we offer, there is an element of trust in this process however, we have 24/7 CCTV monitoring and any sharing of codes or tailgating into the building will unfortunately result in an instant ban. If you have any immediate questions or feedback please send them to info@soulfitwales.co.uk
